Default Air Elementalist

I plan on making an Air Elementalist for my next character. I don't know much about the Air elementalist. Can someone please answer some of my questions?

1. What is the best secondary profession to have for an Air Ele? (I was thinking Mesmer)

2. What are the skills I will eventually want to have.

These are my main questions if anyone has anything else I might need to know please post it as well as the answers.

Thank You,
Sergio Leone

Typically a Mesmer or Monk. With Mesmer sub you'll be focusing skills like Energy Tap. With Monk probably the most useful skill for an ele in PvE is Rebirth.

If you're doing PvP, I use:
Lightning Strike, Ennervating Charge, Lightning Orb, Chain Lightning, Lightning Surge, Filler, Filler, Res Sig.
The Fillers I change too often to really fill anything.
This would go for PvE I guess, but you'll only be killing one mob at a time tho.
